An unflinching, cinematic portrait of the events that inspired Kerouac’s novel, the film follows Jack Kerouac as he flees the lingering fame of “On the Road” and heads for an isolated cabin in Big Sur, seeking solitude and inner peace. His quest circles back into self‑examination, descending into alcohol‑fueled paranoia and a spiral toward madness.
