Jørgen Leth, poet‑filmmaker, explores love through a series of inventive poems shot with cameras and microscopes, tracing its beginnings and endpoints. One vignette follows a tropical island woman preparing for a rendezvous with her lover. Filmed partly in the South Pacific, the work nods to B. Malinowski’s study The Sexual Life of Savages.
