A documentary exploring the erotic poetry of Brazil’s renowned 20th‑century poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade (1902‑1987). Though he kept these sensual verses unpublished for fear of being labeled pornographic, the film celebrates his vivid imagination by having elderly Rio de Janeiro residents read the poems aloud, offering candid, enthusiastic commentary on their graphic and voluptuous imagery.
