After the events of the first film, Hutch Mansell finds himself pulled back into the dangerous world he left behind, taking on assignments for The Barber to pay off a debt incurred after destroying a Russian obshchak. With the pretense of a family vacation, Hutch plans a trip to Plummerville, a place from his childhood that promises a chance to leave his “Nobody” past behind for a while. Becca agrees to the break, hoping the change of scenery might heal the rift that has grown between them. The tension, however, threads through their plans as everyday misunderstandings threaten to derail the hope of a peaceful holiday.

The trip soon collides with the reality of life in Plummerville. At a bustling arcade, Hutch’s teenage son Brady gets drawn into trouble when Max, a local teen, destroys a plush toy meant for his younger sister, Sammy. The incident triggers a cascade of consequences that force the family to leave the venue in embarrassment, but the public scene quickly grows more volatile. An employee’s blunt act—slapping little Sammy on the back of the head—sparks Hutch’s impulsive response, and he intervenes by taking action against the staff. What starts as a moment of family exposure spirals into warning signs that pull in Wyatt, Max’s father and the owner of the amusement park, and Abel, a corrupt sheriff with his own agenda. They become wary of Hutch and his family, pressuring them to pack up and leave.

The situation intensifies the next day when Hutch is ambushed on a boat by Abel’s men, and he loses part of his pinky finger in the clash. This brutal encounter makes it clear that the threats around Plummerville are real and directly tied to a broader criminal operation. Hutch’s brother Harry reveals that Plummerville isn’t just a playground—it’s a bootlegging route, and The Barber explains that the route is controlled by Lendina, a powerful figure for whom Abel works and with whom Wyatt owes something. When Wyatt approaches Lendina to quit after another payment, Abel steps in and orders Max’s kidnapping to force Wyatt’s compliance, turning the vacation into a perilous standoff.

Hutch’s instinct to de-escalate collides with the escalating danger when he learns of Max’s kidnapping. He makes the difficult choice to rescue the boy, even though it risks reigniting lethal conflicts. To undermine Lendina’s operation, Hutch burns a stash of her money and drugs and destroys the warehouse involved, an act that leaves Abel scarred by the ensuing explosion. In the lodge, Harry fights off the remaining henchmen, while Wyatt sustains a gunshot wound to the leg, and David is knocked unconscious in the chaos.

The confrontation reaches a fever pitch when Lendina herself attacks Hutch, only to be subdued by Becca, who tranquilizes her in the eye. David regains his strength just in time to trigger a final, devastating move: he blows up the park, wiping out Lendina and the rest of her men. The pressure-filled sequence culminates in an uneasy sense of closure, as Hutch and Becca are briefly interrogated in an unfamiliar hangar and then released on orders from an anonymous source. In the quiet aftermath, the family gathers to watch a visual album of their vacation, a reminder of the fragile memories they cling to amid the violence and upheaval.
