Nightmare Beach

Diablo, the leader of the Demons motorcycle gang, is about to be executed for a young woman's murder. He proclaims his innocence to the courtroom and vows to return before the electric chair. The moment leaves Gail, the victim's sister, unsettled and suspicious.

A year has passed and Spring Break erupts in Miami, drawing crowds and wild parties. Skip and Ronny, two football players, are among the revelers. The festive atmosphere foreshadows the danger to come.

A masked biker appears amid the party and begins killing with a distinctive device. The back of his bike has a lever and a button that trigger an electric shock in the victims. The killings unfold with a chilling, mechanical precision.

Ronny becomes a victim of the biker, prompting Skip to search for him with Gail's help. They race through the city to locate Ronny and uncover what happened. Their investigation hints at a cover-up and a larger danger.

Skip and Gail discover that Police Chief Strycher and physician Doc Willet have kept Ronny's death quiet to prevent panic among partygoers. The revelation expands the scope of the danger beyond a single killer. The two vow to uncover the truth.

At the gang's abandoned hideout, Trina, Diablo's girlfriend, is attacked by an unseen figure. He uses a live wire connected to her headphones, delivering a slow, painful electrocution. The murder underscores the killer's reliance on electrocution as a method.

Gail and Skip confront the biker at a local tire yard, and the killer is revealed to be Reverend Bates. Bates believes Spring Break is a time for sinners and calls himself a guardian angel delivering electrocution. He justifies his actions with a warped moral mission.

Bates explains that he killed Gail's sister and defends his actions as righteous punishment. He frames himself as purging sin with electric execution. The confession cements Skip and Gail's resolve to stop him.

Skip fights Bates and pursues him as Bates tries to flee on his bike. He loses control and crashes into an electric field, dying by electrocution like his victims. The killer is neutralized, but the method remains a grim throughline of the story.

With the danger quelled, Skip and Gail decide to leave Florida and head to Ohio, where Skip is from. They set course for safety away from the chaos of the week. The trip marks the start of a fragile new beginning.

The film closes with Skip and Gail departing, driving toward Ohio to start anew. The ending hints at whether Diablo truly returned or if Bates was the sole killer. The electric chair motif lingers as a haunting symbol of vigilante justice.
