The first of a three‑film series follows the misadventures of Þór and Danni, two restaurant workers who are suddenly fired. After seeing an ad for jobs in the Westman Islands’ fishing industry, they travel there hoping for quick cash. The remote archipelago becomes the backdrop for a series of odd and comedic situations, especially when rumors spread that the pair are undercover agents for the Ministry of Fisheries.
