David Padikkal remains a top Malayalam film star, surrounded by his manager Paily Kuruvilangad and his make-up man-cum-driver Lenin. His arrogance and party-heavy lifestyle have caused friction, and his last three films have flopped, leaving the industry uncertain about his next project. Dhyan Sreenivasan's team even tries to reach him, but he ignores the calls.

David goes to the film set to act in a movie directed by the strict Koshy, where he struggles to convey expressions. Koshy lashes out at his performance, and David storms off, injuring a crew member with his car in the process. The image damage forces David, Lenin, and Paily to flee to Dubai to ride out the controversy, and Koshy’s film is shelved.

After returning from Dubai, Paily suggests meeting Bala, a renowned acting coach, to address David's weaknesses. Bala agrees to help and begins assessing David's on-screen abilities. The group hopes Bala's coaching will revive David's career.

Bala visits David in his caravan and starts guiding him through a scene, but David, intoxicated, refuses to collaborate and deflects Bala's help. He also hides Bala's involvement from the crew by claiming Bala is only the designated driver who caused the earlier accident. After the shoot, David cancels Bala’s contract and sends him away.

David phones his ex-girlfriend Ann Bava, who warns him to abandon his drug-fueled pursuit of girls and to focus on acting. She urges him to stop seeing himself as a superstar and to listen to the other crew members. Her words inspire David to rethink his approach and consider reconnecting with Bala.

Realizing his mistake, David reaches out and rehires Bala, who then helps him on set and brings a noticeable improvement in his acting. Bala also pushes David to shed his superstar persona and embrace the role of a serious actor. The collaboration marks a turning point in his craft.

At a press conference, David admits that his recent films have been flops and asks fans to name his best performance, only to see that none of his roles have truly connected with audiences. Bala reinforces the shift away from stardom toward authentic acting. The moment signals David's commitment to a more serious career path.

David gets a chance to act in a film directed by his mentor S. Sasi, but locals arrive on set, creating a scene that leads to an attack on the director and crew and forces the shoot to pause. Back in their room, David vents his anger at Bala and Lenin, pushing Bala away and deepening the rift.

Feeling guilty about his behavior, David endures a period of self-reflection and delivers a powerful emotional sequence in a new film. The performance helps him realize the depth of his own pain and drives his resolve to stop making bad films and aims for a hit, signaling a renewed focus on craft.

David goes to Koshy’s house to apologize for his previous on-set behavior, signaling a willingness to repair professional ties. He then tries to patch things up with Ann, bringing a cake as part of the gesture. The attempts set the stage for the next phase of his comeback.

A fan calls that he might jump from a bridge due to heartbreak, and David rushes to intervene. The admirer slips into the water, David dives in, but cannot swim and is saved by the brave fan, who inadvertently becomes David’s savior. David brings the fan home to recover.

That night, David goes to Bala's house to apologize; Bala reveals there was no real grudge and treats him with biriyani as a gesture of reconciliation. He then tells David that there is no point in Bala returning because his job is done and he doesn't need help anymore, signaling a completed partnership.

A few days later, David resumes shooting on Koshy’s film and nails the first shot, earning Koshy's approval. The success confirms the transformation he has undergone and signals the beginning of a renewed career. The film ends with David acknowledging Bala's pivotal role and declaring their mission accomplished.
