In a distant era of Munto, long before the Heavens came into terms with human life, humanity thrived in a prosperous civilization. From the skies descended beings of unknown origin, drawn to the human world by a power they could manipulate called Akuto—the raw force of human emotions, wishes, and dreams that could be shaped into tangible power or objects. These newcomers, hungry for control, quickly overwhelmed the world they found and, without realizing it, erased the very source of their strength: the Akuto that humans had created. As they scoured for more, they discovered alternate universes and drew power from countless dimensions, fueling an empire that floated above the earth—the realm known as the Heavens, inhabited by Heavenly Beings who wielded the same dangerous control over Akuto.
Yet abundance bred corruption. The leaders of the Heavens grew greedy and reckless, their unchecked access to Akuto distorting their judgments and splintering their once-unified rule. The heavens began to fray, and a fierce rebellion arose from the humans who had once supplied the Akuto that sustained them. In a desperate counterstrike, those humans shattered the Heavens’ supply line, severing the link to Earth. The Heavens recoiled, sealing themselves away in a parallel dimension to stop the flow of Akuto, but in doing so they cut the colossal pillars that connected the two worlds. The collision of forces and the ensuing devastation became known as the Calamitous Day, a turning point after which any attempt to rejoin the dimensions was deemed a grave taboo. To guard the delicate boundary between realms, a guardian was appointed to ensure the link would never be reopened.
Centuries have passed, and the Heavens are now fragmented and unstable due to the stubborn drought of Akuto. The floating isles drift apart as kingdoms within the Heavens fight over dwindling resources, each blaming the others for the imbalance. The Magical Kingdom stands at the center of this turmoil, accused of wielding Akuto with dangerous abundance. Its ruler, the king named Munto Masakazu Higo, believes the only path to saving the Heavens is to seek out Yumemi Hidaka Haruna Mima, the one who is said to hold the key to restoring Akuto to its rightful place among the heavens.
As tensions rise, there is a fragile hope that Yumemi might illuminate a way to rekindle Akuto without tipping the balance toward another catastrophe. The story follows the delicate dance between power and restraint, ambition and duty, as the magical and celestial realms teeter on the edge of collapse. Within this vast mythic landscape, the fate of both the Heavens and the human world depends on whether the guardianship of the link can be navigated wisely, and whether the people of the magical realm can champion a future where Akuto can flow again without engulfing both worlds in chaos.
Throughout this saga, the ancient memory of the Calamitous Day casts a long shadow, reminding every character that the path to salvation is paved with careful choices, trust, and the courage to face a power that can shape dreams into reality—and, if mishandled, can erase them just as swiftly. The narrative blends grand fantasy politics with intimate personal stakes, inviting viewers to weigh what it means to hold a keystone that could bridge two fragile dimensions.
