Gaitonde's henchmen assault Amartya's teenage brother Arjun on the streets of Mumbai, igniting Amartya's fury. He thrashes the gang in a brutal display of force, but is arrested by the police and endures abuse from Gaitonde's men in custody. The incident marks the first spark of Amartya's rise in the underworld.

Bhau, the local Chatrapati Sena leader, secures Amartya's bail and recruits him as muscle. With Bhau's backing, Amartya starts infiltrating the criminal landscape and gains access to information about Gaitonde's operations through Nari Khan's network.

Riding the new alliance, Amartya targets Gaitonde's men after learning of their operations from Nari Khan's aide. He assaults their ranks and confiscates Gaitonde's arsenal, dealing a severe blow to the rival gangster. The power shift draws Gaitonde's attention and tightens Bhau's support for Amartya.

Amartya secures bail for Nari Khan and uses the leverage to warn Gaitonde to stay out of his way. With Bhau's assistance, he consolidates control over Mumbai's criminal scene and begins to outmaneuver Gaitonde.

To shield him from the violence around him, Amartya sends his younger brother Arjun to a boarding school. The separation underscores the costs of Amartya's rise and foreshadows future tensions between family and crime.

Years pass and Amartya marries his childhood friend Seema, seeking stability outside the streets. The growing personal life sits alongside his expanding criminal empire as Mumbai becomes his domain.

Gaitonde makes a deal with mill owner Sunil Khaitan to push out workers and unlock mill land for a large project. When Khaitan refuses to heed Amartya's warnings, Amartya kills him to reassert control and eliminate a rival.

Arjun returns to India and is attacked by Gaitonde's men as retaliation for Khaitan's death. At the same time, Sonali offers a bounty of ₹10 crore for Amartya's death, drawing police attention to the case.

Inspector Vijay Savarkar leads the pursuit and captures Sadashiv, a weak member of Amartya's gang who betrays his colleagues. The police tighten the net as the investigation intensifies.

Amartya's ally Arjun arranges a park meeting to test Sadashiv as the rat. Sadashiv arrives while Vijay's men wait in ambush, and Vijay himself happens to pass by, signaling a coordinated police operation in the works.

Arjun kills Sadashiv, who was under police protection, and bribes constables to stage a faux ambush. The mounting pressure prompts Bhau to advise Amartya to leave the country to avoid capture.

Amartya leaves for London following Bhau's warnings while Arjun assumes leadership of the gang back in Mumbai. The move signals the end of Amartya's era as a crime boss and shifts the power balance in the city.

Vijay secures a court order against Arjun under the TADA act and warns of an encounter if he resists. Arjun is shot in court by Gaitonde's men but survives, leaving him permanently paralyzed.

An enraged Amartya returns to India to rescue Arjun and plans to take him to London for treatment. On a desolate runway, Vijay attacks; Amartya detonates a petrol tanker with Vijay inside, securing Arjun's escape as Khan escapes with him.

With the crisis resolved, Bhau hands Mumbai's rule to Baba, Amartya's trusted ally. The film closes with a note about Arjun and the gang's fate and the ongoing cycle of crime.
