Gana, an undercover cop masquerading as an assassin, travels to Ronapura under orders to keep his true identity concealed. He is welcomed by Vishnu and meets Kashi, who runs Bhairathi Ranagal's cement company. This marks the start of his two-year undercover operation within the crime syndicate.

Gurukanth Bhandri is chosen as the CM candidate and Ronapura becomes a political battleground. MP Ekanath Nimbalkar dies in an accident Bhairathi allegedly planned, clearing a path for Raghuveer Bhandari to back Kudari, who ultimately refuses. The village feels the weight of the upcoming elections and Bhairathi’s influence grows.

Gana helps the gang move stock black money from a goods train, winning the trust of Singa and Shabari for further operations. Kashi grows jealous of the covert alliance forming around Bhairathi’s operations. Gana begins to orchestrate his role from within the ranks.

Kudari holds a rally against Bhairathi over alleged mining pollution. Bhairathi orchestrates a riot to suppress dissent, burning houses of Kudari’s supporters. In the aftermath, Kudari aligns with Raghuveer Bhandari’s campaign.

Kashi brings the cop who leaked information about unaccounted money on the goods train to Gana and urges him to shoot the man. Gana reluctantly shoots the informer, feeling guilty and vowing to bring Bhairathi to justice.

The next day, Bhairathi arrives at the mining site where Nimbalkar’s killers are caught. It is revealed that Bhairathi did not kill Nimbalkar, complicating public perception of his motives.

Gana saves Bhairathi from a temple attack orchestrated by Pashupathi, a rival MP candidate. Bhairathi retaliates, attacking Pashupathi and warning him of dire consequences if he persists. The confrontation reinforces Bhairathi’s protective stance over the village.

Bhairathi invites Gana to dinner at his house, where Gana secretly steals a bank-account book named Sri Ramayana Darshanam. He escapes before Bhairathi returns, and Kashi begins to deduce Gana’s true identity while Singa urges him to finish Kashi.

Gana fabricates evidence that Kashi is in cahoots with Pashupathi to kill Bhairathi. Confronted with the ruse, Kashi is killed by Gana. A review of the book’s transfers reveals the money actually went to orphanages, old-age homes, and public schools.

Bhairathi is briefly accused of attacking Kudari, but he traps the true culprit, his driver. In a gesture of reconciliation, Bhairathi gifts Kudari plants and flowers and urges him to run independently in the elections.

Raghuveer Bhandari is revealed as the mastermind behind the attacks. On the way to the election office, Bhairathi and Gana survive a car explosion engineered by Raghuveer’s ally Shabari. They confront Shabari, and Bhairathi hangs him from a lamppost, warning Raghuveer to stay clear.

Vedhavathi berates Bhairathi for killing her husband but, through a conversation with Singa and Gana, learns about the medical scam behind his death. Gana reunites Vedhavathi with Bhairathi on his birthday, and Bhairathi acknowledges his debt to Gana.

Gana leaves Ronapura with the evidence as directed by the commissioner. Raghuveer, intent on eliminating Bhairathi, collides with Gana in a car accident; Bhairathi and Gana survive and confront Raghuveer’s henchmen in a final battle, killing Raghuveer.

Seeing Gana’s integrity, Bhairathi surrenders to the police and presents a portrait he had shown to Avni as a gift from Gana. Gana is appointed as SP and starts his new post, discovering the Sri Ramayana Darshanam book in the prison where Bhairathi also reads a copy.
