Raja Tunga's brother, Raja, and his mob brutally assault Bharat after he resists Raja's advances toward Renu. The attack precipitates a web of revenge and political maneuvering centered around the Pawanghat Power Project. The violence establishes the ruthless tone that drives the rest of the plot.

Minister Mohanlal uses threats and manipulation to push Bharat into signing approval for the disastrous project. Bharat refuses to endorse such a scheme, standing by his professional ethics.

Bharat is framed for murdering a woman and is arrested by Inspector Danapani, a Rana loyalist. He dies in jail, and the ensuing grief shatters Janki, Bharat's wife.

Dr. Ram Prasad Ghayal is overwhelmed by the tragedies around him and becomes desolate and alcoholic. In the midst of the turmoil, Renu marries Raja, moving on from her former lover's death.

With Bharat's death looming and the project at stake, Mohanlal secretly conspires with Rana to push the Pawanghat Power Project forward. Their uneasy alliance deepens into open rivalry as each pursues his own interests.

Mohanlal devises a plan to eliminate Raja, fearing his influence may obstruct the project. The threat triggers a violent attack that leaves Raja critically injured.

Raja is admitted to the hospital after the attack, and Dr. Ram is summoned to perform the operation. Renu worries that Ram may take vengeance, but he chooses to save the life of his rival.

Ram's operation succeeds in saving Raja's life, but Raja dies later despite the doctors' efforts. Renu files an F.I.R. against Ram, leading to his arrest.

In jail, Ram meets Prof Nizamuddin Azad, who reveals that Bharat did not commit suicide but was tortured to death. The revelation rekindles Ram's sense of mission and he embraces his new role as the Angel of Death.

Ram escapes custody and confronts Inspector Danapani. Danapani admits that Mohanlal orchestrated Bharat's murder, and Ram pushes him off a building to his death.

Ram corners Dr. Siddiqui on the roof of Umeshchan Jain's house; Siddiqui confesses to killing Raja and accepting a bribe from Mohanlal. Ram records the confession on video and then kills Siddiqui.

Dr. Ram kills Mohanlal, eliminating one of the central antagonists. The act intensifies his vigilante crusade against those who corrupted the nation.

Dr. Ram reveals a video showing Trilochan Tripathi signing a deal with a foreign syndicate for the Pawanghat Power Project. The crowd, angered by his false promises, chases Tripathi through the streets as the truth emerges.

Rana arrives to rescue Tripathi but fires at Dr. Ram in the chaos. Ram retaliates by burning Rana and Tripathi to death, ending their conspiracy and cementing his self-appointed crusade.

The climactic violence leaves Dr. Ram gravely wounded, and he ultimately dies. His death marks the end of his vigilante quest and the story's arc of vengeance.
