A singer marries a renowned composer, but her longing to return to the stage clashes with his strictness. When she learns that a famous French vocalist, “Raquel,” will perform in New York, she discovers Raquel is actually her own sister. She devises a scheme for the sisters to swap places so she can chase her dream, unaware that her husband’s affections for two women—one blonde, one brunette—are really for the same person: his wife.
