Back in the Netherrealm, Scorpion awakens to a world of new threats. He confronts Shinnok, the Netherrealm’s vengeful elder god, who manipulates Scorpion’s body and soul to serve his own scheme. The plan hinges on delivering a crucial key—one embedded within Scorpion—to the right hands in the earthly realm, while the Lin Kuei clan is drawn into a dangerous game.
