Moon Warriors

Fei, a skilled but simple fisherman, defeats assassins sent to kill the 13th Prince of Yin and saves him from danger. Grateful for the rescue, the prince and his entourage are brought to Fei's coastal village. The two men quickly form a bond as they begin to trust each other.

As dawn breaks, the 14th Prince's army reaches Fei's village. To shield the 13th Prince, Fei leads them into the King Yin's mausoleum, where they secretly hide and Fei realizes the prince's true identity. The secret is risky but offers a last chance to plan a resistance.

Fei joins the prince on a quest to enlist the Lord of Lan-ling's army to defeat the 14th Prince. They travel with caution, aware that the enemy is close behind. Their search marks a turning point from shelter to assembling a resistance, and they encounter the pressure of pursuit.

The 13th Prince entrusts his bodyguard Mo-sin to Fei and gives him a jade to present to the Lord of Lan-ling. This token signals the alliance’s level and the goal to escort Yuet-nga back safely. Fei accepts the responsibility, knowing the journey will be perilous.

Fei and Mo-sin reach the Lord of Lan-ling and are introduced to Yuet-nga. They are ambushed by hidden assassins, but they fight them off and escape with Yuet-nga. The encounter confirms the danger and tightens the alliance.

As they escort Yuet-nga, another wave of assassins closes in. Mo-sin stays behind to hold them off, allowing Fei and Yuet-nga to push forward toward safety. The separation strains trust but deepens their shared goal.

Fei and Yuet-nga take shelter in a cave when a masked assassin attacks them during the night. The next day Fei is impaled while protecting Yuet-nga, who tends his wounds and grows closer to him as they share moments of care and trust. Fei even gifts her a bunny as a symbol of his affection.

The masked attacker is unveiled as Mo-sin, the prince's own bodyguard, recruited by the 14th Prince to spy on his brother. The 14th Prince threatens to poison Mo-sin unless she completes the mission to kill Fei. The revelation shatters trust but also foreshadows a changing allegiance.

Fei returns with Yuet-nga to his fishing village where the 13th Prince is publicly welcomed. The Lord of Lan-ling announces the engagement between the 13th Prince and Yuet-nga's daughter. Fei is offered a noble title but declines, preferring a simple life; Yuet-nga prepares for her marriage as a farewell to Fei.

One night, Mo-sin finds a moment to kill the 13th Prince but cannot go through with it after realizing her feelings for him. This internal conflict marks a turning point in her loyalties. The dynamics among the trio become more complicated as the threat remains.

Yuet-nga discovers Mo-sin's betrayal after witnessing the casualties and realizes she is a traitor. Mo-sin undergoes a change of heart and warns the 13th Prince about the 14th Prince's plan to attack the village from within. This pivot shifts the balance of trust within Fei's group.

The 14th Prince leads his troops into Fei's village and slaughter 89 villagers. Enraged, Fei engages the invaders and single-handedly holds the line as best as he can. The ferocity of the attack sets the stage for the final confrontation.

Inside the mausoleum, the 14th Prince wounds Mo-sin and fatally injures the 13th Prince and hurts Yuet-nga, while Fei bursts in to face him. Neptune, Fei's killer whale, intervenes to tilt the fight in Fei's favor, and Yuet-nga blinds the prince. The tomb collapses, killing the 14th Prince and sealing the fates of Fei's companions.

Fei awakens in the open sea beside his loyal killer whale, realizing the mausoleum has collapsed and Yuet-nga, the 13th Prince, the 14th Prince, and Mo-sin lie buried beneath the ruin. The victory is hollow, sealed by the memory of fallen friends. The sea becomes a reminder of his lost world.

When Fei revisits the ruins years later, wildlife has reclaimed the site and flowers bloom where the tomb once stood. The memory of Yuet-nga, the 13th Prince, 14th Prince, and Mo-sin remains with Fei, turning sorrow into a quiet, lasting remembrance. The land itself bears witness to the cost of war and the resilience of nature.
