Monsters vs Aliens

Susan Murphy is eagerly preparing for her wedding to Derek Dietl. Her supportive parents, Carl and Wendy, encourage her dreams of adventure as they anticipate a honeymoon in Paris.

Just before the ceremony begins, Derek drops a bombshell on Susan, revealing that he has a job interview in Fresno. This news raises doubts about their future together and tests Susan's commitment to Derek's career.

In an unexpected twist, a meteorite crashes in Modesto during the wedding ceremony. The meteorite contains a mysterious substance called Quantonium, which will change Susan's life forever.

During the ceremony, Susan begins to transform after exposure to Quantonium. Her hair turns white, her skin glows green, and she grows over 50 feet tall, causing chaos as wedding guests flee in terror.

After witnessing Susan's transformation, the military intervenes and captures her, codenaming her 'Ginormica.' She is taken to a classified facility run by General W.R. Monger, where she meets other monsters.

At the military facility, Ginormica meets a group of fellow monsters, including B.O.B., Dr. Cockroach, the Missing Link, and Insectosaurus. Together, they learn about the history of the facility and its purpose.

In outer space, the alien overlord Gallaxhar learns about Quantonium's presence on Earth. He sends a massive robotic probe to retrieve the substance, initiating a dangerous conflict with humanity.

The robotic probe sent by Gallaxhar begins a path of destruction toward San Francisco. The President attempts to communicate with the robot, but it only escalates the situation.

In a bold move, General Monger proposes that the President should release the captured monsters to confront the robotic threat. The monsters accept the mission, hoping to gain their freedom in return.

The monsters cleverly devise a plan to utilize parts of the Golden Gate Bridge in their battle against the robot. Their teamwork ultimately leads to the defeat of the rampaging machine.

After their victory, Ginormica and her friends return to Modesto, eager to introduce themselves to Susan's family. However, the resulting chaos leads to a rejection by her family.

After being dismissed by Derek because of her appearance, Susan decides to embrace her monstrous identity. She vows to not revert to her former self, seeking empowerment in her transformation.

Gallaxhar kidnaps Susan in a bid to extract Quantonium from her. The dramatic confrontation aboard his spaceship tests her will and determination as she fights for her freedom.

With the assistance of her monster friends, Susan escapes Gallaxhar’s grasp and reclaims her giant form. Together they engage in an intense showdown that results in Gallaxhar’s downfall.

Back in Modesto, Susan bravely turns down Derek when he attempts to rekindle their relationship. As they celebrate their newfound camaraderie, General Monger warns them of a new threat—a monstrous snail headed for Paris.
