Monga

Monga is set in the Monga district of Taipei, Taiwan, a rough urban neighborhood where gang power defines the streets. The area centers around Qingshui Temple, where the Temple Front gang controls turf around temples, brothels, and crowded alleyways, creating a volatile backdrop for the story.

Monga takes place in 1986–1987, during the mid-1980s in Taipei. This era was marked by intense gang rivalries and shifting power dynamics, with the story culminating in betrayals, ambushes, and plans to wipe out rival factions, reflecting the brutal street reality of that time.

Dragon Lee is the son of Boss Geta and a central figure in the Temple Front gang. He embodies both charisma and authority, balancing leadership with the pressure of inherited power. Boss Geta is the ruthless leader of the Temple Front, wielding power with an iron fist over the gang's territory in Monga.
