Johnny Sun, a Mexican‑American raised by a white mother and Mexican father, witnesses his parents’ murder as a child. Years later he exacts revenge, which draws him into a brutal world of drug dealing and smuggling. Determined to protect his brother from the same fate, he struggles to keep him out of the criminal life, yet finds himself fighting for his own survival.
