That evening, But discovers the body of a student hidden in the storage compartment of her cart. In desperation, she preserves the corpse with herbs and uses its flesh to make noodles, a gruesome choice that unexpectedly revitalizes her business. The strange boost draws Atthapol closer as a regular customer.

Prawit's creditor Mogul and his henchman arrive to collect the debt. But invites them into her home, and in a desperate, unhinged act she murders them and uses their remains in her cooking. Their deaths catalyze a brief surge in business as fear and notoriety circulate.

The next day, while But is away, Prawit and his lover Aio return and drown Bua in the family home. Grief drives But to a brutal act: she tortures Prawit and Aio in a secret room until they die. The family tragedy marks a turning point in her psyche.
