Søren and Peter, two naïve brothers who spend their days fishing in the smuggler‑laden waters of Bomø, constantly haul up more than eels and boots—whisky, cigarettes and other contraband. Believing the finds are lost property, they give them away, much to the parish council’s frustration. When the council chairman finally orders them to stop, police and customs raid the village, turning the brothers’ harmless hobby into chaos.
