The film explores three distinct stories across different time periods. "The Manslayer" is set over a century ago and follows Maara, a young bride beginning her new life. "The Virgin," taking place in 1949, centers on Elina, a woman deported from Ingria to Estonia. Finally, "The Shadow" unfolds in the present, blurring the lines between reality and imagination, as Luna Lee runs away from home seeking meaning beyond emptiness. The narrative is unified by the same actress portraying each of the central characters.
