A Buffalo neighborhood experiences a miraculous event when a shower of gifts falls from the sky. Theresa, seeing a chance to help her family, initially embraces the unexpected windfall. Three decades later, now a nun, she believes the gifts must be returned to their rightful place. Theresa must then confront her relatives, who have built lives around the continued possession of the gifts, in a comedic battle of faith and family obligation.
