Ambujakshi lands in Europe to spend vacation with Deepa and her two children, Viswanath and Bhagirathi. The trip triggers flashbacks to her past with Madhanangopal, whose jealousy once strained their relationship. She recalls the taxi ride and the argument that nearly ended in a crash.

Three years earlier, during a film shoot in a bright park with Suriya, Madhanangopal grew suspicious of Ambujakshi's closeness to him. He demanded she stop acting, and their quarrel nearly caused a collision with another car. The fallout led Ambujakshi to end the relationship and walk away.

On the vacation cruise in Barcelona, Madhanangopal hires Major Raja Mannar to tail Ambujakshi. Mannar accepts partly to raise money for his friend's hospital bills. He begins monitoring her movements as the ship sails.
