Set in the Dakota Territory in 1880, the town of Silver Springs is threatened when a ruthless lawyer, backed by a gang of hired thugs, launches a campaign of sabotage, theft and brutal murders to seize control. Their scheme is disrupted by the arrival of an undercover sheriff determined to bring law and order.
