Aditya [Nani] works as an assistant director on the Baahubali crew. He grows fascinated by Suma [Riya Suman], who works in the office of his friend Kasi [Satya], and he tries to help Kasi win her heart, even as his own feelings deepen. After a series of flashpoints and on Suma’s persistent urging, Aditya opens up about a love story that begins in his hometown Bhimavaram and winds its way through a life built on dreams, missteps, and quiet courage.
In a vivid flashback, Aditya graduates and lands a job with Infosys in Bengaluru. At a party, in a drunken moment, he spots Kiran [Anu Emmanuel], riding her motorcycle, and she crashes into him, sending him to the hospital. From his hospital bed, he admits his feelings for Kiran and, stirred by fate, leaves his job to find her. He discovers she is studying engineering at the same college he attended. When he follows her to class, the students mistake him for a professor, and the principal is impressed enough by his teaching to hire him as a junior lecturer. As Aditya teaches, Kiran begins to see him in a new light, and a gentle romance blossoms. When she questions what is happening between them, Aditya responds in the form of a heartfelt letter, and Kiran is moved by the sincerity etched in his words.
Back in the present, Suma listens intently as Aditya’s tale unfolds and finds herself drawn to the earnest, passionate man she’s just met. Kasi admits that his own heart still longs for Kiran, which adds a complicated layer to the unfolding romance. Aditya then decides to return to Bhimavaram to confront his past and its echoes in the present. At the railway station, he encounters Kiran again and is stunned to learn that she is Suma’s cousin, a revelation that threads their destinies together in surprising ways.
Meanwhile, Suma reveals her own heartbreak: she once loved Raghu, who betrayed her and left her feeling hollow. Aditya’s compassion for Suma’s pain highlights the tenderness that threads through his love story and strengthens the bond between him and Kiran. When Kiran confronts Aditya about Kasi’s role, she realizes she misread the situation and comes to apologize, though the emotional blow lingers. Suma steps in with empathy, encouraging both Aditya and Kiran to trust in love again, and she hands Kiran the letter Aditya wrote.
The trio heads to Mumbai for Kiran’s job interview, where Aditya offers steadfast support and helps build her confidence. After the trip, they return to Hyderabad, and Aditya follows Kiran to Bhimavaram, only to learn that she is set to marry Hemanth [Raj Tarun]. This turn forces a reckoning with their feelings and with the past, and Suma remains a steady ally, guiding them toward a hopeful future. As the truth settles in, Kiran and Aditya decide to fight for their chances together, with Suma’s forgiveness and encouragement fueling their resolve.
In a tense, hopeful finale, Aditya boards a train toward Goa, and Kiran chases after him on a bike, determined not to lose him again. When she finally catches up as he steps off for a drink, she finds the courage to propose, sealing their commitment to one another. The film closes on a meta-note of validation and possibility: S. S. Rajamouli calls Aditya and offers him the job of co-director, marking a triumphant return from a long road traveled between doubt and destiny.
