Deepak Kumar is frustrated with being typecast in romantic roles and wants to prove he can handle action characters. When he witnesses Karan defeating the producer's goons with impressive fighting skills, Deepak sees an opportunity, he wants Karan to train him for his next film. This personal motivation draws him into Karan's world, eventually leading him to assist in the sting operation against Goli.

Earlier, Deepak is shown drinking heavily and complaining about his dull life, signaling his desperate need for something more challenging.

Karan needs to lure Goli out into the open to gather evidence against him. Since Mona was Goli's mistress and knows his secrets, Karan arranges for Basanti, a lookalike, to pose as an amnesiac Mona at Moonlight Hotel. The plan is to attract Goli's attention so he reveals incriminating information that can be used in court.

Goli sends his hit squad to eliminate Karan. Constable Ramlal, who is loyal to Karan, spots the assassin approaching from behind. Ramlal deliberately positions himself in the line of fire and takes the bullet meant for Karan, dying in his arms. This sacrifice deepens Karan's determination to destroy Goli completely.

Deepak discovers that Karan has become increasingly ruthless, threatening and mistreating friends to pursue Goli. When Deepak confronts him about this change, Karan dismisses his concerns, leading to a tense exchange. However, Karan later apologizes, and Deepak forgives him, strengthening their bond for the dangerous mission ahead.

Karan's obsession with avenging his brother and defeating Goli progressively hardens his methods.

Despite Karan placing Mona in a protected safe house, Goli's underworld reach proves extensive. He tracks down Mona's location and kills her before Karan can intervene. This demonstrates Goli's power and the systemic challenges Karan faces in bringing the crime lord to justice.

When Karan approaches the DCP for a warrant to arrest Goli after Mona's murder, the DCP refuses. He considers the move futile because Goli is too influential and well-connected within the city's power structures. This blockage forces Karan to pursue extra-legal methods to fight crime.

At the cinema premiere of Deepak's film, Karan realizes the hero's dialogue mirrors words he himself spoke to Deepak earlier. Feeling that Deepak used their friendship for material, Karan walks away in anger. This moment reflects the unresolved tension between their personal bond and Deepak's career exploitation.

The plan involves Basanti posing as Mona at Moonlight Hotel, claiming to have lost her memory. The idea is to draw Goli out so he visits 'Mona' and reveals incriminating evidence about his crimes. Deepak trains Basanti for the role while Karan gathers the evidence to present in court. However, Goli eventually discovers the truth and demands an exchange.

Goli forces Deepak to arrange for Basanti's fate in exchange for the evidence. Additionally, Deepak discovers that Goli has kidnapped Karan's sister and sister-in-law, using them as leverage. Trapped by these threats, Deepak reluctantly complies, though this puts Basanti's life in grave danger.

Karan arrives at the producer's office to confront him over molesting a job-seeking woman. When the producer's goons threaten Karan, he defeats them all with ease. This display of courage and combat skills catches Deepak's attention, leading to their collaboration.

In the climactic battle at Goli's base, Karan hides with a gun and shoots down Goli's henchmen. He then engages Goli in a brutal one-on-one fight. Despite Goli's resistance, Karan overpowers him and kills the crime lord, ending his reign of terror and avenging his brother Arjun.
