Upon arriving in Manila, he runs into a group of hustlers led by Dodong and Gigi. They offer him a place to stay at their home, drawing him into their risky circle. The new environment promises opportunity but also danger.

Dodong, aided by Siano and Dodie, intervenes during a bank robbery, preventing the heist. Their actions also save a group of production people from a television station who were caught in the chaos. The successful intervention earns them public recognition.

Robert, the station owner's brother, rewards the crew for their bravery. The reward comes as a chance for employment at the television station. This sets the stage for their later involvement with media work.

Ingrid steps in to cover Annie's medical expenses, enabling her operation. As a result, Annie's eyesight returns and she gains a new chance at life. The reunion with Parding after her recovery symbolizes a hopeful ending.

With her operation successful, Annie finally sees Parding in person. The moment seals a new bond between the radio star and his fan, closing the chapter on this turbulent journey.
