After Jesus's death, Mary Magdalene retreats from civilization, her hair turned white as she lives off wild berries, rainwater, and sleeps beneath the trees. The forest becomes her sanctuary. Isolated deep in the forest, she clings to memories of a lost love and searches for a way to reunite with him. She remains haunted by hope.
