A striking story of a fallen woman's regeneration through faith. Jeanne Eagels portrays Mary, a prostitute who accepts work as a maid at a country lodge. Surrounded by a woodland community, she attends church, discovers salvation, and her newfound faith heals the local sick. Yet her former employer, who once pursued her, continues to threaten her.
