In the end, Amy, the young daughter of the family, emerges as the survivor and the so-called “final girl.” Throughout the film, it’s revealed that her family is secretly cannibals, preying on outsiders, which explains the gruesome scenes and the hidden bodies. This shocking twist shifts the story from a typical horror chase to a brutal clash of survival. As chaos erupts inside the family’s hideout, Amy manages to escape amidst the violence, shooting and killing the deputy sheriff who arrives at the scene just as she is fleeing. She completely destroys the house, setting it on fire to erase her horrific past and the evidence of the family’s gruesome deeds. Driving away in their family RV, Amy appears to be the only one left alive, freed from her murderous family and their twisted lifestyle.

However, her future remains uncertain. Given her insatiable craving for meat—an ominous sign rooted in her family’s dark secrets—it’s likely she might continue down a dark path, hinting that she could face more trouble in a potential sequel. The ending leaves her as a survivor but also as someone haunted by her past, suggesting her story isn’t over.
