A young German officer (Wolfgang Liebeneiner) sees his world turned upside down when he tries to end an illicit liaison with a married baroness (Olga Tschechowa) after falling for an innocent young singer (Magda Schneider). This is the French version of Ophuls’ classic drama Liebelei.
