Young playboy Pál Milkó, the nephew of the mill’s powerful CEO, provokes and even strikes the firm’s respected accountant, Andor Virág, prompting the older man to quit in fury. To atone, Pál moves into Virág’s home, keeps his distance from the elder, yet pursues the accountant’s daughter, soon finding himself hopelessly in love.
