Marci is conscripted from his modest apartment block in Pest’s sixth district and bids farewell to Juli, his house‑mate and secret love, though neither admits their feelings. Juli works in a factory and spends evenings dancing and drinking with her friend Gizus. A year later Marci returns for a holiday, his heart brimming with love.
