Lost Voyage

Eight-year-old Aaron Roberts boards the Corona Queen with his father, stepmother, and grandmother for a honeymoon cruise. He rejects a gift and lashes out, saying that the new stepmother is not his mother. The tragedy of his mother's death haunts the family as the adults decide to give him time to adjust.

On the ship's bridge, the crew detects a massive sonar image indicating something extraordinary. A dark, menacing cloud forms, and the vessel seems trapped as passengers panic. A bright light engulfs the family, ending the scene in a blinding flash.

Twenty-five years later, adult Aaron records the story of the Mary Celeste as part of his paranormal research. A mysterious silhouette appears in his doorway, suggesting a link between the two cases. The figure leaves as Aaron contemplates the connection.

Mary reveals that the Corona Queen has been found adrift off Bermuda. The news shocks Aaron and draws renewed media interest to the unsolved tragedy. The revelation hints that long buried questions may finally be answered.

Dana Elway, a paranormal investigator, pursues the Corona Queen story and arranges for coverage. Her boss assigns Julie Largow as a junior partner to work alongside her. Dana agrees to bring Julie on the assignment for the upcoming trip.

Dana visits Aaron at his apartment to recruit him for the expedition. He initially refuses, troubled by memories of the past. A dream of the Corona disaster persuades him to join the crew and confront the ship's mystery.

A salvage team boards a helicopter with Aaron, Dana, and the crew to locate the Corona Queen amid a violent storm. They discuss the Bermuda Triangle as a potential explanation for the ship's disappearance. They locate the ship and are dropped onto its deck to begin exploring its strangely intact interior.

Fields is the first to die, electrocuted by an unexplained electrical discharge. The survivors begin to experience disturbing visions from their pasts. Julie is seen in visions as if she is taking Dana's place, intensifying the crew's fear.

One by one the crew are killed as the haunting grows more violent. Randall is attacked and killed by a ghostly Julie, and Dazinger falls to falling anchor chains. As the ship seems alive with malevolent forces, the group realizes their fate is sealed if they stay aboard.

The crew finds the captain's log describing the Corona Queen entering a mysterious Bermuda Triangle dimension. It notes that the passengers and crew were slaughtered and that the children disappeared last. The log suggests a recurring, inescapable pattern.

Only Aaron and Dana survive as the ship continues to be swallowed by the black clouds. They escape by helicopter, narrowly getting away just as the vessel vanishes again into the storm's maw. The experience seals their bond and confirms that danger follows the ship.

In the aftermath, Dana is promoted to producer of her show, while Kaplan is removed from the project. The achievement feels bittersweet, given the five lives lost. The team keeps the memory of the outbreak while continuing to pursue stories of the unexplained.

Aaron replays the recorded dictation and deciphers the man in the doorway's words: the warning that they should all move on with life, plus the final goodbye to his son.
