Diego, a former flamenco star forced into retirement by illness, is haunted by Antonia Jiménez, the beautiful woman and artistic partner he once loved. After worldwide success, Antonia returns from America while Diego struggles in Madrid’s outskirts, tangled in shady dealings. He kills the man who stole her, and a tragedy looms.
