Petra and Matthias live in a strained marriage. He works as a janitor at the anatomy school, while Petra’s bitter, uncompromising nature fuels constant arguments—though she never raises her voice. He, in contrast, shouts without hesitation, indifferent to who might hear. The gossip‑filled neighbors at the end of the street know every detail of life inside their home.
