In this off‑beat screwball comedy, a princess faces a royal decree that forces her to secure a husband within 24 hours or lose the throne. In a frantic bid, she impulsively marries a condemned prisoner, only to have the sentence lifted, turning the hurried nuptials into a legitimate marriage and sparking further comic complications.
