A newspaper reporter nicknamed “Scoops” is dispatched to probe a series of failed attempts on Archduke Julio. While chasing the scoop he encounters Jane Hamilton, who is secretly Princess Helen, a royal in exile threatened by assassination. Unaware that she is the real story, Scoops falls for her even though she is already engaged to a prince, setting off a comic‑romantic adventure for the whole family.
