Clarice Kendall Andrews comes home from a Mardi Gras celebration, drunk and announcing she married during the festivities. Her sister Paula knows Clarice is still married to the same carefree gigolo, Stephen Cormack, who is on his yacht. A mix‑up leads Stephen’s lawyer, thinking Paula is Clarice, to offer the older woman $5,000 to annul the marriage.
