KPop Demon Hunters

The film begins with the ancient tale of the Hunters, a trio of women wielding the power of song to combat demons on Earth. For centuries, they have protected humanity by creating the Honmoon, a shield against demon invasions, under the leadership of Celine. Her ultimate aim is to forge the Golden Honmoon to keep the demon king Gwi-Ma and his minions at bay.

In the present day, the latest incarnation of Hunters is a popular K-Pop group called Huntrix, consisting of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. As they prepare for a performance, fans describe each member: Mira being the rebellious spirit, Zoey the sweet rapper, and Rumi, the lead vocalist with a mysterious family history. Rumi is raised by Celine, who kept her true heritage a secret.

While flying on their private jet, Huntrix receives an urgent call from their manager, Bobby, prompting them to action. Realizing their cabin crew are actually demons, the trio engages in a midair battle while delivering their hit song, ‘How It’s Done’. The battle culminates with them gracefully landing on stage, showcasing their prowess and showmanship.

In the underworld, Gwi-Ma is furious over his demons' failure to capture human souls and punishes them. Amid the chaos, Jinu, one of Gwi-Ma's oldest demons, proposes a cunning plan involving a boy band called the Saja Boys. His goal is to exploit Huntrix's fanbase and weaken the Honmoon to fulfill Gwi-Ma's hunger for souls.

As Huntrix prepares to take a break, Rumi surprises everyone by announcing a new single, 'Golden'. However, during recording, Rumi faces a crisis as her voice cracks, revealing her half-demon heritage through mystical markings. Celine is aware of Rumi's secret, raising the stakes of their fragile dynamics.

Huntrix visits a healer to mend Rumi's vocal issues, but they encounter the newly transformed Saja Boys, led by Jinu. While initially captivated by them, the trio soon realizes the truth about their nature. The Saja Boys perform ‘Soda Pop’, drawing huge crowds and further threatening Huntrix's reputation.
