Manuel, who fled his hometown after a violent clash with a fishing company, ends up on Jude’s trawler hoping to earn enough money to return to his wife and daughter. On board he learns—through a whispered warning from Pandari—that the man Jude supposedly “took care of” was his own brother, Daniel, who had been killed after trying to stop Jude’s drug‑smuggling. The revelation turns the whole voyage into a personal vendetta.

The crew, led by Jude, Srank, Michael and Sabu, hatch a series of schemes to eliminate Manuel. After a botched fish‑hook attack, they plan to use a massive shark as an accidental “cover” for his death. When the shark drags the small boat that Manuel and Sabu are in, Manuel miraculously kills the beast with a second spear launched from the main trawler, turning the plan on its head. The struggle leaves Sabu badly wounded, his blood spilling into the sea—exactly the kind of scent that will later attract the predator.

With the trawler still far from shore, Jude insists on completing the catch, ignoring the injured Sabu and the dead crew‑member Aloshy. Manuel, now determined to stop Jude from sailing them back empty‑handed, confronts the captain. A brutal fight erupts; Srank, who had pretended to be the voice of reason, strikes Manuel, wounding him, and the three conspirators—Jude, Srank and the bleeding Sabu—are overpowered. Manuel hurls them overboard. As Srank lies in the water, his wounds bleed profusely, and the shark that survived the earlier clash circles back, attacking and killing him. The film implies the shark will finish the others, whose bodies are slick with blood, while Pandari—forced to watch the carnage— is left alive as a trembling reminder of what has transpired.

In the end, Manuel’s relentless drive for revenge and his promise to protect Daniel’s daughter Diya bring the cycle of violence to a grisly close. The trawler’s journey ends not with a triumphant return home, but with blood‑stained water, a dead shark, and a lone survivor haunted by the price of vengeance.
