This experimental film reimagines the story of Jesus Christ within a decaying world, presented as a collage of visual styles including Digital, Super 8, 16MM, and VHS. Divided into three acts, it explores themes of hope and sorrow through a meditation on belief. Distilled church music, composed by various noise artists, accompanies the film’s imagery. A first feature from Los Angeles filmmaker Case Esparros, it was released in 2019.
