Imagining the unexplored years of Jesus from ages three to twelve, the story follows Joseph who, after King Herod orders the killing of Hebrew boys under three, moves his family to the edge of Egypt. In this refuge the young Jesus senses his divine purpose and yearns to return to Nazareth. The journey home with Mary hints at later ministry.
