K.G.F: Chapter 1

Rocky Krishnappa Bairya is born in 1951 to Shanti on the same day officials arrive to investigate a yellow rock that turns out to be gold ore. Suryavardhan kills the officials to keep the find secret and immediately begins to build a power base around the resource. He leases the land for 99 years and secretly starts K.G.F and a crime empire.

Suryavardhan uses the gold discovery to form a secret empire. He establishes KGF and a crime syndicate and appoints five associates to run its operations: Adheera, Kamal, Rajendra Desai, Andrews, and Guru Pandian. Each man is assigned a domain, from security to refining, transport, smuggling, and politics.

Suryavardhan suffers a stroke and designates his elder son Garuda as the future heir, with Adheera to serve as his aide. The five associates begin maneuvering to control the sprawling operation that now rules the countryside. The power struggle foreshadows the violence to come.

Garuda conducts an unsuccessful attempt to eliminate Adheera, and in retaliation a car bombing leaves Adheera presumed dead. The incident heightens tensions within the KGF leadership and showcases the fragility of the new order. The other associates quietly begin to scheme anew.

Rocky arrives in Bombay at age 10 with a dream of wealth and power. He begins working for Shetty, a gold smuggler aligned with Andrews in a rival underworld. Over the years, his influence grows as he helps oversee the arrival of gold bars to the Bombay coast.

Seeing Rocky's rising influence, Andrews offers him complete control of the Bombay underworld in exchange for assassinating Garuda. Rocky accepts the offer and heads toward Bangalore to set up the operation. The move marks the start of his determined bid to take over KGF's influence from afar.

To draw Garuda out, Suryavardhan's statue is installed at a DYSS party office in Bangalore. Desai, Kamal, and Andrews' secretary Daya covertly smuggle a pistol for Rocky, but the plan is foiled when Garuda's guards spot them. The unsuccessful setup reveals the danger that lies ahead.

Rocky allows himself to be captured and enters KGF with other enslaved workers. He navigates the maintenance room and uses a map of the mine to plan his moves, narrowly escaping death thanks to a fellow slave who sacrifices himself. The entry marks the beginning of Rocky's direct involvement with KGF.

Rocky battles a unit of twenty-three guards to rescue a blind slave, an act that earns him reverence among the enslaved workers. He signals to informants that he is still alive, igniting hope and loyalty among those who suffer under the regime. The miners begin to see him as a savior figure.

To divert Garuda's attention, Virat, Garuda's younger brother, smothers Suryavardhan to death. Garuda rushes back home, trying to control the fallout as the empire surfaces to threat. This act accelerates Rocky's plan to move against Garuda.

Rocky uses a tunnel from the mines to reach Garuda's mansion and reveals himself as the third assassin. He beheads Garuda, an act that plunges the KGF regime into upheaval and allows the slaves to rally behind Rocky as their new leader.

Ingalagi notes that Rocky may have choreographed the KGF assassination to spark a slave army and seize control. News of Garuda's murder travels to rival dons Inayat Khalil and Ramika Sen, while Adheera is revealed to be alive and ready to resurface. As Vanaram orders an attack, a gunshot rings out, signaling that the saga continues.
