Jayarama is blind and works as a lift operator and caretaker in a Bangalore apartment building. He shoulders the responsibility to earn money for his sister's wedding and remains loyal to Krishnamurthy, a retired Supreme Court judge who lives in the same building. The two men support each other while Krishnamurthy leads a long search for someone important.

Krishnamurthy recalls an action taken years ago: he imprisoned Vasudeva for a crime he didn't commit. He followed the law, even though Vasu was innocent. That act triggers Vasu's later madness and his vow to avenge what Krishnamurthy did.

Vasudeva is released from prison, and Krishnamurthy senses the threat to his life and to those around him. He hides his young daughter Nandini in a convent school to keep her safe from Vasu. Nandini's only link to her father is Jayarama, who visits her at Krishnamurthy's request.

To reduce scrutiny, Krishnamurthy and Jayarama decide to move funds for Nandini into a separate bank account opened for her. They avoid electronic transfers to stay under the radar. The plan centers on keeping her future secure while Krishnamurthy remains cautious.

Jayarama withdraws the money and hands it to Krishnamurthy, who places it in a safe inside his apartment. The cash is meant to secure Nandini's future, shielded from prying eyes. The whole operation remains quiet and carefully controlled.

A large wedding in the building brings everyone together and sets up a tense night at Krishnamurthy's home. When Jayarama returns after the party, he discovers Krishnamurthy dead and a killer on the premises. In the ensuing chaos, Jayarama subdues the killer, but Vasu slips away due to Jayarama's blindness.

The confusion after Krishnamurthy's murder grows as Vasu murders Krishnamurthy's brother-in-law Natraj and runs, complicating the case. The missing money fuels police suspicion on Jayarama, who is now detained and questioned. He resolves to clear his name and protect Nandini from the vengeful killer.

Jayarama is arrested and pressured by the police to confess. They torture his girlfriend Revathi during interrogation to force a false admission, but Jayarama fights back and escapes with Revathi. The pursuit shifts to how he can clear his name and protect Nandini from Vasu.

Jayarama, with Inspector Gowri's help, hides Nandini from Vasu and reveals to Gowri that Nandini is actually Vasu's daughter. This revelation reframes Krishnamurthy's past actions as the motive behind Vasu's brutality. Nandini's safety becomes the mission they all rally around.

Jayarama, Nandini, and Gowri take shelter in a convent under the Mother Superior's supervision. The quiet sanctuary provides a temporary shield from Vasu's pursuit. Inside, they plan their next moves to safeguard Nandini's life.

Vasu locates the convent and confronts the trio. Gowri is knocked out, but Jayarama uses Vasu's ringtone to lure him and shoots him, finally ending the threat. In the dying moments, he reveals the truth about Nandini's origin to Vasu.

With the danger behind them, Jayarama, Revathi, and Nandini begin a new life together as a loving family. The future looks brighter as they move forward in Bangalore, free from the shadow of Krishnamurthy's past actions. Their bond, forged through danger, becomes their strength.
