During a downpour, a cabbie attempts to rob Madhavi, but Kamal, a forest ranger, intervenes and rescues her. He shelters her until the sky clears, becoming a quiet shelter in her turbulent life. The encounter foreshadows a deeper connection.

Kailash arrives at the Dinanath home, aiming to exploit the situation for money and to uncover Madhavi's true identity. He impresses the family with charm, while Poonam herself distrusts his motives. His presence threatens the fragile balance Madhavi has built.

Dinanath realises that Madhavi is not the real Poonam, yet he accepts her as Madhavi and designates her as guardian of the family property for Munna's inheritance. The revelation shifts the power dynamics within the household. Madhavi gains a formal claim to Munna's future protection.

That night, Kailash poisons Dinanath, and Mrs. Dinanath accuses Poonam, leading to her imprisonment. The conspiracy tightens around Madhavi and the truth remains buried beneath layers of deception. The family begins to fracture under the weight of the treachery.

Shabnam enters, posing as the real Poonam, further muddying the truth. Kamal initially distrusts Madhavi but ultimately helps expose Shabnam and Kailash, ensuring that their schemes are halted. Madhavi's fate and identity remain in jeopardy until the truth is revealed.

Kamal searches for Madhavi and discovers her about to jump from a cliff. He stops her by singing a song, and they share a heartfelt hug. The moment marks a turning point toward solidarity and possible redemption for both.
