Allen Karroll despises Christmas after his ex‑girlfriend publicly humiliated him, a pain amplified by his job writing greeting cards. He also loathes his neighbor Zeb Rosecog, the former CEO of his company who constantly torments him. One night the ghost Jacob Marley (a relative of Bob Marley) and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future mistakenly visit Karroll’s house, thinking they were meant for Rosecog.
