The group travels to Stryker's Island in Metropolis where they meet Clark's wife Lois Lane, who has recruited the Suicide Squad to their cause. They plan to infiltrate LexCorp and use a Boom Tube to reach Apokolips and kill Darkseid. Lois, the Squad, and LexCorp defend the route while the others push toward Apokolips.

Lex Luthor is at LexCorp aiding Lois with gathering intel on Darkseid. Batman learns of Luthor's betrayal and dispatches Paradooms and the new Furies after the heroes. The team splits: Clark, Damian, Raven, Constantine, and Etrigan infiltrate Apokolips, while Lois, Luthor, and the Squad guard the Boom Tube.

Final battles: Trigon's form and Cyborg's sacrifice

Constantine and Raven merge magic to give Trigon a physical body to continue fighting Darkseid. Trigon prevents Darkseid's escape as they are dragged into oblivion along with Apokolips.
