Dr. Kinderman injects the DNX chemical into a deceased nude Japanese woman, triggering a horrific reanimation. The revived woman kills Kinderman by tearing flesh from his neck and then attacks his assistant Sharon.

Three gangsters—Jun, Kabu, and Akira—rob a jewelry store while wearing masks, and their getaway driver Saki waits outside. During the robbery, an employee stabs Akira in the foot, forcing the crew to regroup and flee, with Saki awaiting the drop.

Dr. Takashi Nakada, involved in the DNX project, is escorted by US soldiers to Colonel McGriff. McGriff reveals that DNX development has continued under military control at an old factory, where the thieves plan to meet the yakuza.

At the factory, Saki tends Akira's injured foot as Jun is killed by a zombie after pursuing Saki. The trio discovers chemical equipment and bagged corpses, and they realize Jun’s body is being eaten by other zombies.

Leaving the lab, the trio encounters Ramon and his yakuza gang. They hand over the stolen jewels, but Ramon betrays them and draws his guns; Kabu is fatally shot, and a zombified Jun attacks a yakuza and is shot.

During the pursuit, containers of DNX spill onto the bagged corpses, reanimating them and turning the factory into a nightmare. The newly reanimated corpses rise and threaten the survivors as they scramble through narrow halls. The situation sharpens the urgency of their escape.

Nakada, McGriff, and Sgt. Davis attempt to remotely activate the factory's self-destruct system. The nude female zombie who killed Kinderman disables the countdown and sends a chilling message: 'I LOVE YOU ......K'.

Saki and Akira decide to retrieve the jewels regardless of the danger, while Nakada and Davis board a helicopter to reach the factory. Tensions rise as more zombies sweep the building and threaten to overwhelm them.

Ramon's remaining partner is killed, and Ramon himself revives as a zombie and attacks the others. Saki shoots and kills Ramon, and then is ambushed by another zombie and stabs it, while Akira locates the jewels but cannot find Saki.

Nakada encounters Kyoko, the nude zombie who is revealed to be his wife. Kyoko decapitates Nakada, and Saki shoots Kyoko in the head, though the zombie does not die. Akira arrives and cuts Kyoko in half with a shovel.

Saki and Akira activate the self-destruct sequence and escape through a window as the factory explodes. Kyoko, now legless, pursues them and is hurled into a high-voltage box, electrocuting her.

Saki and Akira dive into a body of water and survive the blast. McGriff notes that the DNX program can be restarted at any time, and the couple drives away in a sports car provided by a car salesman.

In the rubble of the factory, a zombie hand rises from the debris, hinting that the danger may not be over. The final image suggests the DNX threat could continue in the future.
