In a jungle clearing, Munki and Trunk wake up to find they can talk. The mysterious four-legged alien Fneep arrives from the planet Scaldron with a translation device called a speech pod, which triggers their newfound voices. They quickly realize this change is connected to Fneep and the possibility of conquest he carries.

Munki and Trunk learn from Fneep that the translation pod has made them speak. He reveals that his ship crashed near the mountains and that he intends to conquer Earth, then summon Scaldronians with a homing beacon. The wildlife decide to accompany him toward his ship to see the plan through.

An ostrich egg hatches during a stampede, and the newborn tries to fly but fails. The gang reaches Fneep's impact site and discovers Grogon has arrived, revealing that Fneep lied about conquering Earth.
