Silvia, a young wife neglected by her husband Kurt, spends a flight to a psychoanalyst congress lost in daydreams, picturing herself as Jong’s heroine Isadora while reading the novel “Emancipatory Joy of Flying.” After the journey she embarks on an affair with businessman Jörg, confronting how her sexual fantasies and yearning for personal freedom intertwine.
